“Charlottetown –The Full Monty is now onstage at The Charlottetown Festival, and it looks like Charlottetown has another hit musical!”
Eugene Clark, Gabriel Antonacci, Greg Barry, Jordan Bell, Matthew Campbell and Rick Hughes star as the six unemployed steel mill workers who, each facing their own personal crisis, concoct a crazy scheme to earn a bit of fast cash. What they find in the process is renewed self-confidence, and the respect of their community.
Eugene Clark plays Horse, the oldest of the six guys. He brings a career in theatre, television and film to the Festival that is fascinating and diverse. A veteran of more than 200 television productions and 15 feature films, he won a Gemini Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Dramatic Series for his work on the hit TV series Night Heat.
Eugene also starred as Mufasa in Disney’s The Lion King onstage in Toronto for two years.
